When asked "how is your planning?" most of them commented "I'm SO busy." Most brides are working full time jobs (inside or outside of the home), taking care of children or parents, and trying to plan a wedding. That's a lot! Any one of those things takes up quite a bit of time. So get help. Allow your wedding party and a professional wedding planner to take some of the tasks away from your already full plate.
We actually love Pinterest. It is wonderful for getting ideas. But many brides we spoke to had a collection of pretty pins that they did not know what to do with or how to make "come together." They talked about getting sucked in and losing hours in front of a computer screen planning their wedding but had little vision for how it would all work out. We say pin away! Then send us the links to those boards so we can help you create a cohesive personalized wedding day!
Many brides were experiencing "sensory overload" during the show. There was lots to see, music playing, delicious food smells wafting around the room. It was something for every kind of bride. Many brides commented that they needed several hands to juggle information, food, bags, and other "stuff." We recommended brides take a moment to sit down and develop a plan for visiting the vendor booths. Next time, invite us to come along! We'll happily be another set of ears, eyes, and hands at the show!
