The night before, go to bed as early as possible. Honestly if you can manage to get a good night’s sleep and drink lots of water daily the week before your wedding even better! Your skin and your nerves will be fantastic!
8:00 AM - Wake up and call your beloved
Check in and hear your fiancé’s voice! It will calm your nerves and heighten the anticipation all at the same time.
8:15 – Shower and eat
It is very important to start your day off with a nutritious meal. Grab a few cereal or protein bars to drop in your purse.
9:00 AM – Hair appointment
If you can have hair and make-up come to you, I highly recommend it.
11:30 AM - Make-up
Make sure to have the make-up artist leave samples or purchase the colors used for your day. You will need this later.
12:30 PM - Eat lunch with bridesmaids and moms
I know it feels like you just ate, but try to eat again. This is also a time to spend a few more minutes with your bridesmaids and mom. Photographer starts taking pictures of bridal party getting ready.
It could take up to 30 min if a corset back or stubborn button loops.
1:30 PM – Wedding party shots
Work with your photographer to develop a list of pictures you must have for your day. If there are two photographers one can take pictures of each side of the wedding party. Consider two locations (e.g. bride inside and groom outside) for pictures where the bride and groom stay put and the wedding party moves between the locations. That way, there is no chance of seeing one another before the ceremony and half of the pictures are taken care of ahead of time.
2:30 PM - First look or first touch photo
Often couples want a moment captured when they first lay eyes on one another before the ceremony. Some brides say that it truly calms them down and makes the rest of the day less stressful. It can be a truly intimate moment – and it looks great in pictures.
This is when you need those samples the make-up artist left for you.
3:30 PM - Guests begin to arrive
Remember that you want to be in an undisclosed location, serenely awaiting your union to your beloved when guests arrive. Your calm will show through and make you even more radiant as you walk down the aisle!
3:45 PM – Bridal party lines up
4:00 PM – Ceremony begins!
